This webinar will cover the video examination and proper ear cleaning of a chronically inflamed ear canal. Learn how to clean the entire ear canal to better topically treat ear disease. If there is debris seen in the canal, it will first be cytologically analyzed for infectious organisms, then the ear debris will be removed using a variety of methods that will be described and demonstrated.

Dr. Lou Gotthelf, DVM, renown veterinarian, educator, editor, and author, is a specialist in ear diseases of dogs and cats. Dr. Gotthelf wrote and edited Small Animal Ear Diseases; An Illustrated Guide, now in second edition. In the service of treating animal ear disease, Dr. Gotthelf has cooperatively developed veterinary pharmaceuticals, intra-otic laser surgery techniques, and most recently the MedRx Video Vetscope. Dr. Gotthelf travels extensively worldwide with MedRx, educating veterinarians on diagnosing and treating ear diseases.
